Linda and myself along with Wayne & Annita dined here on Saturday 19th April. Must be at least three to four years since we last visited. The place definitely is going ‘Gastro Pub’ and was very busy with lots of people waiting for tables. The menu was extensive with several daily specials to complement an already ‘difficult to choose’ list. Sometimes too many options worries me, but our choice of Venison appetiser and Sea bass were excellent. The wine list was also well chosen and a Chilean Carmenere accompanied the predominantly meat dishes with a glass of Chenin Blanc with my fish. Service was attentive but not rushed considering the tables being in demand. A highly recommended ‘local’ gastro pub which we shall return to.
