The White Swan, Stone, Staffs, 13-06-08

We went over to Staffs to visit our friends Paul and June. In typical fashion we started at The White Swan in Stone which is a real ale pub of the Joules Brewery stable and Paul knows his real ales! It’s a popular pub with great atmosphere. Paul and I started with a pint of “Postlethwaite” each which was a quite strong dark brew. The beermat as one would expect featured the most famous of Postlethwaites’, Pete Pos(our Tony’s mate). For our next pint we decided on a change and opted for a pint of “Wat No England” an exceptional drop, troffing was limited to peanuts and crisps out of the packet but it was a real pub! Obviously we went for the obligatory curry.
