Lunch at Balmoral!
Not your common or garden Balmoral but The Balmoral at Husthwaite. Where? I hear you ask. It’s a tiny village twixt Thirsk and York. All ancient stone and pantile roofs. Anyway this is a pub/eatery. Very quiet at lunchtimes but apparently busy evenings and weekends. The menu is typically gastro pub fayre but on the evidence of our beef bourgingone, boreginyon, ‘er stew, it is worth a call. £7.50 tasty and well presented with two cracking herb dumplings
