Oxo Tower 16/4/09

Last Thursday I had a great dinner with some business associates at the Oxo Tower in London, we met at 6 pm for cocktails just as the sun was beginning to go down. The bar and view at the Oxo are amongst the best our capital has to offer. The meal included sticky pork belly, chilli squid, seared rare beef for starters which were all well presented and good. The mains included Sea Bass and Pork Loin again presentaion plus flavour were good, cheese to finish off with. As the sun went down the colours of the amazing buildings such as St Pauls Cathedral and the Gherkin changed dramatically. Ade, one of my companions worked in Bradford many years ago but hasn’t been back so I informed him of how well Bradford had NOT been developed! We were only to have had the table until 9 pm but the drinks kept flowing so the night did get a tad messy as we were the last to leave………………the bill was pretty heavy so I would say one to go visit every once in a while.
