Home made Indian feast

Sunday Bank holiday saw us travel down to darkest Calverley at Paul and Carol’s for a birthday afternoon event.

Quite a chilled afternoon (although literally too chilled to be sitting outside in Calverley), we enjoyed a selection of home made rubies: vegetarian with okra and sweet potato, 2 strengths of chicken korma (for the non spicy palates) and a super spicy lamb (my favourite quelle surpise). Mention also has to go to the excellent home made bhajis, sauces, poppadoms and assorted bits and bobs.

We left the post curry dancing and carrying on and retired home to the sofa (still not being 100% don’t you know) regretting the fact that we didn’t sneak away with a doggy bag.
