Is it possible I hear you say! well not quite.
A three course meal with unlimited house wine (for 90 mins from when your order is taken) always read the small print….and the mains required orders of side dishes at approx £3 each but it’s still very good value, offer available Tue and Wed eve until 24th June 2009 (exc 2nd June) and you need to book in advance.
The majority of the Globetroffers had Risotto to start with but Tess and I opted for the Chicken liver parfait, very nice but never enough toast for my liking so we had to ask for extra bread because G and a few other Globetroffers had to try it…
Mains included Roast Trout, Chicken and a Lentil vegetarian dish…good all round food but they needed extra side dishes..
Desserts, a choice of Coconut tart with sorbet, Meringue with chocolate fondant or a selection of European Cheeses…all followed by coffee..
The bill averaged out at about £38p/p but we did have pre dinner drinks plus additional drinks during the meal once our 90 mins was up and it included a 10% service charge..All in all a very enjoyable evening.
