Well Wednesday brought my monthly trip for a curry with my mates. The Haweli on Keighley Road was the venue. I had my usual lamb chops and i have to say the best yet ! Four lovely chops served on a bed of fried onions with a side salad all for £2.95 a bargain and the meat was cooked to perfection. My main course was Chicken Tikka Makhani with boiled rice after all I was watching my weight(hence the boiled rice). The sauce was fruity and very tasty. The chicken was lovely too. Most main courses cost about £6.95 which I thought was very reasonable.
It’s also licensed so you can have a drink if you wish and the service was good and attentive. We had to create our own atmosphere because we were the only people in but it was mid week and reasonably early. I am told at weekends it’s really busy. My verdict was good food, good value and good service and I would definitely visit again.
