East 10th August 2009

Just a quick note to praise East in Pudsey. A couple of mates and I had a quick early dinner before watching the mighty Leeds United(haha) play Darlington. We shared 2 starter dishes, the obligatory lamb chops and chicken livers both were excellent. Mains were a lamb bhuna, special hyderabadi(chicken and lamb) and keema achari. The lamb bhuna was very good with nice big chunks of slow cooked lamb that just melted in your mouth and the keema achari was new to me as it was the normal mince but with lime pickles which was superb. The special hyderabadi was good but I think the large amounts of tomato may put some off. East is definitely an alternative to Aagrah but not quite there yet.
